Lego City Undercover - picture issues

Tired googling but didn't find any answers
Was playing this on Xbox One with my daughter last night for the first time and in the driving scenes the screen would distort really badly whenever sky was in shot, basically completely whiting out so you couldn't see where to drive.
We were playing in co-op on a pretty new 55" Sony LCD (never had issues with any other game)
I did try game mode on the TV but it made no difference
Any ideas folks? I can post some pics up tonight if required
BTW the game is quite good fun other than this problem, bit too easy in that you are told what you need to do, but that is infinitely preferable to the unfathomable Lego Star Wars
