Chimaera Project anyone ?
Discussion
As per the title. Chimaera at a salvage auction, looks like its suffered an electrical fire of sorts at the battery /behind the dash.
Low mileage, looks really good. Any body on here the previous owner or know the car ?
Come on somebody please, buy it before "The Dick Turpin" of the North East gets it.........he usually does.

I found this on cazana. it was up for sale in June, price not known:
T633AAL TVR Chimaera
1999 T Reg, TVR Chimaera 4000cc, Venetian Green Metallic, Fawn/Green Hide, Green Carpets, Power Steering, Imola Alloys, Heated Seats, Vertcial Boot Opening, Latest Wipers, Known From New, Waxoyled Chassis, Just Fully Serviced, 12 Months MOT
Seems minor damage to write it off, even cat N.

those auctions, imo, are just for boosting the price to verify a specific claim-value against the insurance, hence the (final) prices in such auctions are often unusually high...in reality the car wont have been sold.
edit: 6750,- auction end....for such a car, far too expensive.....
