Brake wear indicator on
Discussion
The brake wear sensors on my 996 tt are all burnt from the last track day and the indicator/ warning keeps coming on. Will the ecu log this and will the dealer know its been on for some time when i take it in for a service?
Its still under warranty so i dont want them telling me its void because ive been running it with it on.
Cheers

And now the 1 million dollar question. Why don't you get it sorted out or do you prefer to drive around in a 996tt without braking power

If it's an OPC, they probably won't even know what a brake wear indicator is. If you get really hacked off with the light being on then just snip the wear indicator wires and splice them together thus shorting them out and hey presto the warning light goes out. Alternatively if you are being precious, just fit new wear indicators, 10 minute job a side and not very expensive to buy.
PS perhaps it's worth checking your pads as there must be a reason for the indicators flashing up the warning.
