Run of 200? - like the new 935 - but without the full body kit?
Porsche is fully taking advantage of the current bubble - fair play... but wow - another model...

Waste of time, unless they can convince someone it can race in their series.
Could end up like the Ferrari FXX programme or This car might actually get raced also.... i think they will get it adopted... I like that they've built it. I'm sure every single one is already sold.
Hope to see one at a track day next year...serious kit - probably learning/input from Manthey for this also.

I'm curious. Is this 2rs CS a good way of Porsche showing buyers of this they aren't 'elite' enough to get the more limited (and expensive) 935 or is it meant that big hitters are going to be getting both?
What Is the difference between the 935 abomination and this one.It would not be so bad if it could get into lemans as a road gt class, then it may get some history ,problem is it wil have more bhp than anything else on track and would be restricted to death.
Is it for the bigger picture of gt cars raceing in preperation of when mclaren drive to lemans and then back to woking.
Can you imagine a cup car with turbos, imagine how much a 30hr refresh will be,i dont think they will go turbo for gt3.
Metz engines have been in a 911 since they started, what a engine never to be repeated again, its won fairly much everything.
AMG GT R Pro is how to do it.
Fit proper dampers, Monoballs, Recaro's etc and keep it road legal.
lovely
I guess Manthey-Racing do it now for Porsche but even the RS Porsche are still lacking and Manthey-Racing can make them better.
A CS Porsche with REAL 3 ways and proper buckets would be a great thing and what RS car should be, I always thing RS models of the GT3 are never that much better or much lighter. Ferrari always make they top line cars 80/100kg lighter ! RS weighs the same as a GT3.
Manthey-Racing where it's at with Porsche but it's expensive and voids warranty !

I just see this car as another way to milk the GT2RS cow. They're producing the 935 track-only car, share all the parts but keep the standard bodywork and voila - you have this car.
Apparently the 935 is based upon this car. Which is clear to see from all the Monza mules. We saw this car a lot and then only saw the 935 prototypes afte the launch. This car is only available direct from Motorsport. Not via dealership.
Really it should be road-legal and more importantly - is shouldn’t be so limited...Totally artificial and so quite contrived, but the scramble can only be more hype for the brand.
Yep. I occasionally mince about in an Elise S1 sport 190. That was a track only car but it found its way on the road the year that it was built.
Nice little thing actually
Back on topic, whilst I see why Porsche are making this car - as said earlier I think that the smart money is on just buying a 991 Cup instead. Lovely lovely thing and not hideous to run if you are only tracking and not racing
