Where did you get the g/b remote bushes from?

They do tend to go over time.

Also - do you live in Barrington - if so might see you at the next Royal Oak meet.

Good fix on the g/box remote: my bushes are so shot that when you go for second or fourth the propshaft hits the extension
When it first happened I was having a drag with an Evo 7 in the Lakes and I thought the box had gone!
There's another problem with that extension: the shaft that passes through the middle runs in two bushes to avoid wearing the alloy casting. On my 390 the bushes are worn to hell (110,000 mile car) and there's more play than a Middlesbrough schoolie on Hooch.
As a temporary bodgification (er... three years ago ) I cut two lengths of 15mm copper pipe and sleeved the shaft, but I recently acquired a spare LT77 and the remote is excellent.
As the rubber bushes need doing anyway I was planning to see if the extension can be changed with the 'box still in the car...
I didn't know Rimmers sell poly bushes for that, I was going to turn some acetal ones up on the lathe! I know the stick might buzz a bit, but what the hell; it's a sports car not some pimpmobile...
