Seeing how my car suffers from stone chips and now other half damage to the lower spoiler I thought I'd ask in here for decent paint shops in my area.

Any pointers - ta.

You're sort of the middle of:-

Linds in Bradford (near the train station so you can get home and back again) on 01274-727587 speak to Edgar. I use them so do most of the Leeds players.

Central in Brum on 01384-571021 speak to Adrian. The other people I use, although now so are TVR Power, Paul Matty, and PJ Evans Ferrari, so it's getting hard to book my cars in.

I assume you're asking for the M Coupe on your profile?

Is the spoiler fibreglass, and in need of repair rather than replacement?

If not, you are wasting your time asking in the TVR forum - glassfibre cars like TVR and Lotus require specialist paint/body shop knowledge, which are few and far between. I could probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of sprayers I'd really trust with respray of a glassfibre car in this country, and none of them are in South Yorkshire, I'm afraid. Good general spray shops are ten-a-penny.

Surely you'd be better off asking in the BMW forum, or are they even less helpful in there?

There are a lot of man hours involved in properly repairing damaged fibreglass and prepping it for paint.

Unless BMW's parts prices are truly exhorbitant, I'd expect that for anything but very minor damage it would be more cost effective to buy a new one.

You probably have been better asking on the regional forums, but why not Sytners BMW in Sheffield town centre?
