Suggestions chaps.

I need a bit more feel on the front end, especially in the wet, is there anything i can adjust on the front end to assist?
Would a change to Pilot Sports be of any help?

Cheers

Check the rear preload is set for your weight. Too little weight on the front might be the problem.

How much do you weigh?

As above just put some decent tyres on it, the suspension is pretty basic on them so any adjustment is unlikely to make any difference, Pr4 or PR5, they transformed the feel of my FZ1 which was running crap tyres on it and gave me complete confidence in the wet.

This. I put Road 5's on my FZ-09 and they are amazing in the wet or dry. Lots more confidence.

The Hyperpro progressive springs and oil kit is pretty good and not expensive too. Worked very well with a Nitron rear shock. Something to think about if you're planning to keep the bike for some time.

All sounds good. Try some new tyres as above.

Relax your grip on the bars. Be smooth with the controls and the confidence will come.

There is usually quite a lot of grip in the wet, provided the bike is balanced on a neutral / very slight throttle and on a reasonable surface.

Ask yourself when was the last time you ran out of cornering grip on the road, in the wet when not braking / accelerating hard?

Watch out for iron works, i.e. drain covers and plan well in advance, looking as far up the road as you can.

Have fun.
