Aprilia Shiver - changing from kmh to mph ?

It’s a question on behalf of my mate. It’s a 2018 shiver he’s buying but the display is kmh. It’s been suggested to him that you can do it via a diagnostic menu but need some sort of code.

Does anyone know whether it can be done without taking to a dealer on the bike menus.

You'll have to do some more digging for the new one.


"Take it to a dealer" is an interesting interpretation of the regulation that says the speedometer must be able to display both MPH and KPH.

Thanks Gareth. I know what you mean, I thought it should be something you must be able to do yourself or what do you do if you suddenly decide to hop abroad on it. Seems ridiculous that you need some sort of service code to perform a simple function
