Adverts teaching bad habits to kids??
Discussion
Ok first there is the KFC ad where all the women in the office are singing with their mouths full
very irritating ad IMO
Now I have just seen a fanta light ad where the people are drinking a mouthful of it and then spitting it out
It may seem a lighthearted way of advertising but surely it will just encourage children to have bad manners where food/drink are concerned, we all know how kids copy things they see.
Or am I just getting old?
no need to answer that

So that's what it's trying to sell...
Did wonder... could not understand word or point of this advert.
As for the kittens imitating....they know my claws would not stand bad manners -
But the eldest refers to it as the chav advert und zaps the remote (und this then causes squabble when he then starts watching the other channel
) ..his younger brother ("ladies man"
- has dated all the girls in his class so far
) has given them a poor rating on overall sex appeal. Und the younger boys thought it sounded like the hedgehog song again...
Und in any case - cannot ever recall entering one of these KFC placees....und if we want food whilst out und about ... ist a traditional cosy place where they either sell good old fashioned fish und chips or... a "suicide" curry!
Ist not going to make us wish to purchase whatever it ist they are trying to sell....

KFC's is a pretty chavvy place so they are appealing to their core market.
Saying that, the car parks around where I work have a voucher to get two KFC meals for the price of one.
We used to either take a voucher from the back of clients parking tickets (amongst their records) or grab some that had been disposed of, go there and share it between two-a meal for a mere £1.50 each.
