Afternoon,

I've recently took delivery of a new Seat Leon fr 1.8 Technology. When reversing I've noticed it doesn't include the park pilot etc. I understand I can enable this through the usage of VCDS.

The only trouble I'm having is understanding which cable I need? I've done a bit of research online and some people are stating OBD2 and others are stating a different type.

Alternatively, if anyone knows anyone who can enable these settings in North East England. Please contact me.

Any information would be appreciated!

Have a look at ODB11 and Carista.
You might be able to enable it through those.

It should be enabled by default so I’d be taking it back to the dealers

It may also be worth looking in the settings to see if it’s unticked for some reason. As above it’s been default on all vw group cars with factory sensors for about 8-9 years

Afternoon SteBrown,

I thought so aswell. However, after completing some investigation. Apparently Seat don't include it as default with the sensors, you have to buy parkpilot plus.

I've purchased Carista as stated by the previous post as it looks simple to use!
