Pre-cat griff. Best sounding car ever in my opinion. Although to be honest any RV8 engined TVR don't sound bad!

Have to agree, as standard the old SEACs are hard to beat, only the pre-cat griffs coming close.

Any Precat RV8, Wedge, V8S, Grif etc...

But have to say the SEAC's take some beating for noise........!

I would have added the V8S to the list but until Andy (Mr Sheen) actually gets his machine out the garage so I can hear it I can't comment. GT4 unfortunately doesn't count!!

The thread is titled "Noisiest TVRs".

The loudest doesn't necessarily sound the best.
Infact loud speed6s have still got nothing on a "quiet" TVR RV8.

But, An immaculate brand new Griff already run in and DU55TYC plates for £0.05p sounds kinda good to me. Shame apprentice sold it before I could get there!

MikeB's 450 sounds absolutely awesome. When we all went on the "Chicken Run" through the Brecon Beacons in January it must have registered on someones richter scale somewhere Great day, truly memorable
Edited to say haven't heared Steve's SEAC in the flesh yet.

I can vouch for how fanbloodytastic Mike's V8S sounds!

I'd say it's a pleasure to travel behind it to savour the symphonic aural delights...

BUT

...it comes at the cost of having crud spewed all over one's lovely shiny car from the exhausts!

At least Mike's a decent fellow and will no doubt offer a damp chomois to anyone similarly affected.
