engine rebuild
Discussion
So you are the guy that overheated his 997 by forgetting the car idling outside attempting to charge the battery and then opening the cap of the expansion tank? (https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=1777975&mid=62665)
What is your mechanics diagnosis?
While I don't know Dal Jones, I have to say I'm not really impressed by their homepage. Also their pricing/warranty seems odd to me.
Hartech surely is not the only Porsche engine builder in the UK, but they are regarded by many as the best. There are other good ones: Tuthill and PS springs to mind, although both are more specialized at air cooled stuff. I'd certainly get in touch with Hartech, if I where you.
