What does your Brexit apocalypse portfolio?
Discussion
So I'm asking a little tongue in cheek but let's say you're starting from a clean slate and want the ultimate Brexit zombie apocalypse proof portfolio you can reasonable come up with.
What's in it?
Holdings?
Allocations?
Reasoning?
Arse, I can't spell, can anyone edit the title to say "What does your Brexit apocalypse portfolio look like?"

I agree with you, but bear in mind that a very small 0.25% increase in base rate is these days described as a "hike". Most of the media commentators appear to know nothing about finance or the economy. Like most MPs.UK currency and stock market are already lagging other major countries by a substantial margin and IMO this will only get worse, the irony being that people who voted for Farage and Johnson are the ones who are going to end up paying as the UK economy slows.

Yeah, it's quite a large movement for a major currency to move in single day. Currency doesn't jump around like some equity valuations due to the sheer size and volume of the market and the sophistication of the way its traded. But for a currency to shift 0.5% is significant, especially against a Euro which isn't exactly soaring in itself.Turns out "sharply" is 0.5% - is that really "sharply"?
Obviously words like Plunge and Crash aren't particularly helpful other than journalistic licence.
Sensationalism sells, sadly.
Look at the all the headlines just last week about the FTSE wiping out all this millenium’s gains.
Yes, it’s back to where it was at the turn of the century, but anyone with a shred of integrity should point out that was the dotcom boom and bust period and actually, we’re nowhere near wiping out the gains from the lows of 2002.
