These arent 2018 cars... forget what the adverts say, neither of the above cars have carbon ceramic brakes, which became standard fit on 2018 models of the 570GT. Thats why they have a good price on them... just an FYI.

Hmm, having had a look around and as posted above this car is priced at the top end of these, there are better deals out there.

Way too expensive for a non ceramic braked car.

McLaren Manchester e mailed me this high spec ceramic braked 570GT in October at offers on £140k with a minimum £45k discount. £130k car I reckon.

I believe those deals were only valid if you took out their finance (as advertised on the email). Where does it say offers on £140k ? I can see a price of £145k only at the bottom. Happy to advised if you know something factual not shown on the email ?

Blimey i would have thought Top 555 would have learned from there 720s which is not selling despite them lowering the price every month, even though it's still expensive.

Sorry it is £145k.

Take out the finance then pay it off. Still a £130k car at the end of the day.

And with low miles high spec 720S now in the £170ks this means more pressure on prices across the range.

The devil is in the detail.

Internet pontification or fact - ‘still a £130k car at the end of the day’... where can I find a brand new one for this price please ?

Where are the high spec, low mileage 720S in the £170k’s retail ? The only one that I am aware of was a launch edition (circa £208k new) that Joe Macari sold in a day.

Maybe I have missed something but I cannot see the deals that you speak of so freely ? I have checked the classifieds on ph etc. If you are referring to those offered in the mid £180’s please describe them as such otherwise it is misinformation.

lol, JM sold a black one last week 1k miles advertised for £ 179k ,might have gone for £170k so that's quite realist to say imo!

Yep, I mentioned that car in my post. Not sure if that would be listed as high spec and regarding price who knows what it sold for ? The point is there was a large price spread between early launch edition cars, base spec and performance edition cars. It is important to compare apples with apples when comparing prices or relative value,

A £280k car being offered at that price is one thing, a £220k car is quite another imo.

No, you are right. Probably not a launch edition by the looks of it but I believe it may have been £208k plus options.

Challenge him on a 991.2 gt3 and he will day they are all selling at 30k over list minimum and any car without an extended leather dash or led headlights is not worth buying and is a poor spec car!

Absolutely - that's why I am moving on smile - I like a car I can drive rather than having the car drive me...and I am too impatient to wait for the next Lotus coming

You should try it smile
