Have you done the majority of your Christmas Shopping yet? If not, what's the plan?

Are we generally the last of the late shoppers, risking it all in the last few days? Or are there some weirdos that had it all sorted early? scratchchin

I know what I want to get my parents. I had it watched on Amazon as it was the cheapest supplier. But now they've put the price up a tenner to the same price as everyone else. shoot

Should have been more organised and bought it last month! bangheadlaugh

Added the after Christmas option as some people may arrange to get stuff cheaper in the Christmas Day online or Boxing Day sales. Good logic I suspect.

When buying for young kids, as I am, it's too risky leaving it to the last minute. Fortunately, they want electronic and games console stuff, so managed to get the bulk of it on Black Friday. Spent the past week ordering other presents, mostly on amazon.

All done now and am currently wrapping them.

O/H has spent the afternoon in the other room wrapping stuff ready for me to post in the next day or two. That's how it happens every year, seems to work well. I've no idea when or from where the 'stuff' is purchased, it just appears throughout the year.

That’s killing the high street.

Used to do it all on Christmas Eve but the past couple of years I tend to sort it all before December and avoid all shopping areas in December where possible

I used to go out Christmas Eve and get the lot. Now the wife does the majority of it and I only have to worry about her present.

Big stuff all done (excluding one because the National Trust are the least organised company on the planet) just looking for the silly little presents now.

How late? About 30+ years. That was the last time I did any Christmas shopping.

I’d be interested to see how many have told others that they are electing not to do xmas gifts this year - maybe use the excuse of affordability or you don’t want to burden them to buy for you instead you’d be making a charity donation

Couple of main presents for the Mrs during black Friday week. Stuff I was going to get anyway and didn't even think or release it'd be discounted - what a bizarre concept BF is. Generally I'll be buying small bits, mostly online, right up until though.

Don’t blame you that’s a cracking car - go for it, no doubt silly speculators will sooner or later pump it so much out of the average car buyers budget.

Can't decide between it and a 944. Will need to get the wifes permission.

My missus is a shopaholic, so she takes care of the lot. The only present I have to get is hers, and she is very good at dropping "subtle" hints about things she likes biggrin
