Did he make himself known as police at the time?

Was he wearing uniform/blue lights (some bikes have them!)

Was the request or the driving beforehand recorded?

Was it just him and yourself - was he with anybody else/were you?

The answers to the above will dictate the action you need to take (alongside whether you were actually driving like a cock!)

May be best paying for a short consultation with a motoring solicitor (AGT on here is good - helped me) before/if you are asked to attend an interview as they’ll likely be looking for you to incriminate yourself...

No the only words that were exchanged was can you pull over on the left. He was in uniform

And no there was no sirens. It wasnt a motorbike it was a normal peddle bike.
You chose not to stop for a police officer in uniform; what did you think was going to happen?

So i was driving along at night on a saturday when a police officer on a bike came up to my passenger window and asked me to pull over (which he claims) i drove off.

24 hours later the same officer and 2 other undercover officers came to my house. I wasnt home buy they brang a NIP with them and pressured my father into giving the details of the driver. He just gave a surname as he didnt know who was driving (me and my brother share).

So i have been accused of DANGEROUS DRIVING AND FAILURE TO STOP FOR POLICE.

The guy was on a bike no cars, no sirens, no chase!

Anyone have any idea whats happening ????

Im sorry but i would also be wary about pulling over to a guy with a police uniform on but just on a push bike, seems a bit dodgy.

Not at all it’s quite common in cities to see police on bikes. Most/all bikes are liveried and they’d be wearing a helmet.

Even on a liveried pushbike with full uniform on, radio etc? (different if approached by someone in plain clothes I grant you)
Even if unconvinced you'd pull to the side of the road, drop your window an inch and verify his ID wouldn't you?

Dressing up as plod to hijack a car seems overkill..... They just take your car if they want it these days surely?!

Driving off from plod can never really result in a positive outcome can it?

This has to be a wind up?

Should I ask why you chose to drive off after being asked to pull over?
