Yeah well tough titty guys because on Friday the powers that be
put up 'Speed Camera' signs all the way from the Berkshire border just west of Hungerford, to at least Calne. The yellow perils themselves have not (yet) appeared, but spose will not be long. A lovely road to do a bit of high-speed driving (so I'm told, never done it meself) comes off the 'fun' list

The 'speed camera' signs have been up for some months now, but no pretty yellow boxes. Why, I wondered?
Well now we know - there won't be any nice, predictable, visible fixed cameras. Instead, "From 11/01/2003 Mobile Safety Camera Units will be operating on the A4"

So be very wary!
