Siemens Appliances Required

Will soon be starting an extension that will require a new kitchen.

Does anybody know anybody who would be interested in the business?

Alternatively can you recommend anyone?

The items I need are listed below.

I'm speccing out a kitchen ATM and I'm going for a SMEG oven/hob and an AGA

I like the seimens wine cooler though, hadn't thought of that. I might have to make room somewhere

Siemens appliances are very good. I used to work for them as a Sys Admin but still got discounted goods across the range - and they make everything

Did you know that most of Siemens appliances are actually badged as Neff, Bosch and Mielle?

You pay a lot for the name as they are fashionable in designer kitchens but there again you would pay for any other quality leading manufacturer's top products.

As also mentioned Smeg is THE designer name to have in your kitchen although my sisters was a nightmare. I am not tarring Smeg, maybe she just got a bad one.

I have some Siemens appliances and they are OK.

My Kuppersbusch ones are better but also (much) more expensive.

Heard somthing similar.

Ive found Bosch to be slightly cheaper, Neff about the same but Mielle much more expensive.

Siemens are the ultimate. My kitchen has nothing but. They never go wrong.

My girlfrind has a that crap smeg stuff - every component has broken and needed replacement.

I bought a NEFF cooker hood and underneath the paint you could just make out 'Siemens'. Same company. Unfortunately the Neff brand image went south after they started doing cheap cookers for housing estates. I think Miele are currently rated higher.

My parents have just re-equipped with Siemens fridge and dishwasher in the kitchen.

The spring on the fridge door is so violent that you can't store eggs or a jug of milk in the door as they get splattered all over the fridge when the door slams shut (even if it's closed really gently). Add to that the fact that it requires a big lump cut out of the skirting borad under it for the airflow (though an ugly white plastic vent) and i'm not hugely impressed so far.

I've got Bosch. The fridge is so well designed. Instead of shelves it has a series of slide out trays. Means you can always get to the food at the back.

No, this one actually gets cold, unlike the Hotpoint fridge it replaced.
