DVI and VGA out can I use both...
Discussion
Hi,
I have a graphics card (not sure which one but it's a fairly old 128Mb one, AGP 4x IIRC... Radeon 9000?) and it has 1 DVI out and 1 VGA out.
I currently have my TFT out of the DVI (fantastic picture) and I'm thinking of getting another TFT (which has both VGA & DVI inputs).
Can I run each monitor from one of the ports (i.e. DVI to DVI, and VGA to VGA) but have the screen real estate spread over the two monitors?
The idea being that I can get the monitor now but get a dual DVI graphics card "at a later date"...
Cheers,
Phil.

You should be able to, if its twin headed, but you need a DVI to VGA dongle.
In case it's a matter of my description:
Each monitor has both a VGA AND a DVI input... the card has one of each.
I planned on connecting one monitor via VGA and the other via DVI.
Cheers,
Phil.
