Why was the topic closed?

I was really interested to see what sort of price it went for in 2008 compared to the silly prices they are going for now.

I bet what seemed like a 'small fortune' then seems small fry now.

Here's one that sold in November 2008, equates to about £15,500 at the exchange rate then

Thanks for that.

It was a really interesting thread, I was thinking it was crazy money back then, then never found out what they actually got for it.
Then after 10 years the thread popped back up and I was really looking forward to hearing whether they sold it or kept it and if they sold it how much for.

The thought was it wasn't going to go much higher, however, now look at what they are fetching.

I've just picked one up myself and remember about 5 years ago they were about
17k but now more like 30k give or take and that's with out any keep of paper work

To be fair they are lovely.

Date and no cyclops just does it for me, and that gen just looks so right, really nice.

us oldies with dodgy eyes need the Cyclops lens.......my arms arnt long enough.
