Thanks.
It was quiet surreal seeing the workers with no hard hats and high vis, or public safety barriers.
Everyone just looking like they're getting with whatever they needed to do.

Too much safety kit can lead to a false sense of security, you can think the safety kit will protect you when it cant.
eg wearing a safety helmet when inspecting a swimming pool

The number of fingers waiting to get chopped off worried me , but no sign of poised first aid kits

Victoria Line construction was completed just about on programme, although over budget. There is now no completion date for Crossrail, the project team has lost control.

Driverless trains on the 1960s, it's the future.

Remember a tour of the Jubilee Line Extension works at London Bridge in the late 90s. Just like this, road slightly raised, underneath work went on with all the services normally buried in the road normally suspended from the steel frame supporting the road surface.

Wonder if they are still using the same sections of road?
