Drying aid sprays

On the few rare occasions I’ve used a local hand car wash they use a spray after rinsing which aids drying and leaves quite a nice finish on the car.
They seem to use autosmart products, but are there any I should consider that are similar?

I use a motorcycle air dryer to break the surface tension of water and to aid drying but have also used Meguiars Last Touch Detailer. Always rinse off a car with an open hose which allows the water to sheet off the surface, this helps hugely when drying.

I tried the sonax spray detailer to help w/ drying (which comes highly recommended) and it only left smears.
I instead dry the car and then spray it on top.

Thanks both, a quick detailer seems more suitable after drying.
Ive heard very good reports about sonax products.

They are probably using Autosmart Aquawax which is a good product in isolation.
Gyeon Wetcoat is on another level however.

I use Gyeon Wetcoat too and it's great. Meguiar's Ultimate Spray Wax is a good drying aid as well, I've got a black car and have never had problems with streaking or marks after using it.

Do you towel dry after using the gyeon or does that cause streaks?

I have been using Autofinesse's, Aqua coat. Very impressed with it..

Yes use a drying towel as you would normally. Wetcoat leaves the surface slick so any water left after rinsing the Wetcoat is very easy to remove.

I tried it and found it smeared and streaked, despite changing quantity used. One of those products where you wouldn't be surprised to see a Version 2 in the near future.

After looking at some YT reviews I got this and it is pretty good. Used it before xmas on a car that had been neglected (washed twice this year and no polish/wax of any kind and prior to that had only used a quick detailer type spray some time last year) and any rain would just lie flat on the car, absolutely no beading. No before photo unfortunately but this is from first use. No idea how long it will last until it needs doing again so let's see.

Sams Detailing do a great drying aid. 'Ceramic Boost Spray'

Protection for up to 2-3 months, beads really well!

Moved to Sams Detailing for detailing products now. With Auto Finesse you seem to be paying more for the brand, not worth it in my opinion. SD's products are great and prices are much cheaper and has that premium/professional quality.
