For a bit of fun, rather than me just doing my evening meal and looking out on the sad weather outside I thought it might be quite fun for me to grab some of the basics out of the fridge and you decide what I cook.

Note I have run out of cider, funny that tongue outwink

So here are the ingredients

Suggest the most mindblowing meal you can think of, a bit like those cookery programs, and I will cook.

Sorry, attempt to cook it.

I do have other stuff of course like flower/flour and oil and things that lurk in the very bowels of the outside fridge and freezer so if you want to do all that with a pie crust then feel free.

OK, start shooting.

It is 19.30 hours now. This thread closes at 21:00 where the winner will be picked to go forward to me actually cooking it.

Bon appavoyage.

PS the things in that paper bag are left over chips from yesterday.

Fry the meat , chillie, onions, pepper.

Salt & pepper, then in a wrap.

Put cheese on top and oven until cheese cooked smile

Make some chilli onion burgers, blanch a little cabbage, mash with the chips for bubble and squeak. Two fried eggs on top.

You'll need some more cider. yes

finely chop the cabbage. mix with the mince. add a raw egg yolk on top to serve. 'cabbage steak tartare' (bit of salt + pepper and maybe chilli too)

you can use the leftover chips to actually eat after you realise how unpalatable that dish is.

Ok, great suggestions there guys

The general trend seems to needing fried eggs on top. Always a good plan. I do worry that someone called M135i suggesting that might end up with a bit of non slick pan oversteer onto the floor, but lets see tank

I'm going to try a cottage pie wrap lasagne and "flat earth burrito" with a rice topping mixed with cheese slices and two fried eggs on top.

The potatoes in the cottage pie will obviously be the left over chips. Under this the lasagne will be the mince and wraps with cheese and chilli.

Wish me the best of British luck.

the extremely spicy mince part. Got Paper lanterns peppers in that. scoville 400k.

My "lasagne sheet" cheat which was cut up wraps with cheese slices

At this point Sevenoaks had a small earthquake, if you move you head up and down rapidly and side to side if you have just got back from the pub these next 3 showing the addition of extra curry powder etc will be in focus

Back in focus

It in the grill, left over chips and rice to the top

Adding the fried eggs

The final dish.

Not the little bit of red to the front south by south west of the chip. They do have a kick even after the many layers of my cottage pie chip lasagne, I need to drain the local Prosecco lake slightly desperate Sevenoaks dirty thirties house wives drink nowadays before a big chilli burp.

Let's see how Masterchef judges it, I'm in the green kitchen of course, the colour of green your lettuce ends up like when your partner in the house buys it to be healthy and then leaves it for 6 months cogitating in one of those special drawers at the back of the fridge.
