Hi all,

Over the Xmas period, provided the weather holds up, getting my Exige back into an acceptable state is pretty high up the priority list.

Only thing I’m slightly struggling with is rubber marks all over the front, sides, rear wing and top of the rear clam, picked up on a track day a few months back.

I can’t feel a raise on the paint but can see the black marks - any advice on products to try and shift it?

I would give Auto Glym Tar Remover a try.

would the rough side of a yellow and green pan scourer plus some meths as required, do the job?

Must have been quite a track day!

Tar and glue should sort it. If not any decent polish will bring it off. Whatever you do dont touch your car with a scouring pad!

Whatever you do, do not do this.^

Rubber marks on paintwork is par for the course on any track day.

Autoglym tar and glue removes makes short work of it but you need to polish/wax afterwards as it also strips and protection.
