If you stir something in a pan do you stir clockwise or anticlockwise?

If you swapped to you other hand do you stir in the same direction?

Stir with my right hand generally in an anti-clockwise direction, but lots of variation to ensure less burning or sticking.

Given up how to teach my girlfriend how to stir a pot/pan without everything sticking to the bottom!

Sorry to hear your girlfriend has a sticky bottom. Has she tried a whisk?

Right handed, I stir both clockwise & anti-clockwise, whisking is always clockwise. Stirring left handed would only be done in an emergency, too much mess!

Christine bought one of these;

I'm not a gadget person so of course I mocked her ridiculous purchase.

I have used it on occasion when I remember it's there, it's actually quite good but you don't get any of the "feel" so it's a bit limited.
