Memory seats

Morning, picked up 991.2 GTS last week, bloody marvellous!! Can somebody offer some advice on the following?
I have set my driving position to memory 1, the seat rises when you exit, all good.
When you get back in car and turn the ignition on the seat does not return to mem 1, you have to press it manually??
Am I missing something?

It's possible that the system has forgotten it's base line. I had this issue which required a PIWIS dealer reset.

It sounds like your car is resetting to your key’s position not “1” when you get back in. I’d try setting your preferred position to one of your keys and use that key all the time. That’s why the Mrs and I have our own keys.

Two points if you have comfort entry on it will pull away form the wheel etc to make getting in easier.
Second you need to code it to the key by pressing set and the key symbol when you are happy with the position.

When you unlock and open the door it will move to the key position. If you start the car before it gets there you it will stop moving and you will need to press the button to move the final way..
