Why do bike manufacturers not include/offer an option of a garage door opener on motorcycles? They seem to be installed in lots of cars as standard, so why not bikes too?!

I've got a little remote control I keep in my pocket. Saves getting off the bike but I do have to take a glove off to fish it out and operate.

Never considered it being attached to the bike.

I have exactly the same, little remote that I keep in my pocket.

Don't consider children then.

I just got one of these off ebay and wired it into the garage door

About £5 and just clip it onto the key ring

I've got a remote for mine, small length of chain connected to the bikes key and then a small square of velcro to attach the remote to the bike to stop it flapping around. Works for me as a fair weather biker, probably not a good idea to get the remote wet.
