Hi, I know it's a common fault with the ESP light staying on, but my fault code is 448 Haldex clutch pump. This has been replaced and have had the oil and filter changed on the system but is still not resetting. Am I missing something? It resets on VAGCOM but comes back on as soon as you start the engine.

Cheers

May be the module at fault.

As xjay says, could well be the controller as they can get damaged by water ingress.

If you're doing the work yourself, it may be worth checking the new filter to see if there is any debris in there. Also, was the old filter all blocked up with shavings?

Hi, the filter was not too bad, is the control module above the pump at the rear?

Also, you can hear the clutch engage manually when operated through VAGCOM if that helps

Controller is right next to the filter, held on with two Allen head bolts.
