just checking in . . . my 2010 987 Spyder now has 113,000 (one hundred and thirteen thousand) miles on the clock - no issues - no problems - just EPIC INTERSTELLAR fun and driven every single day, whatever the weather like the world is ending!

Thats about it!

But don't expect too many replies because you've not mentioned anything about its value. hehe

Kudos. It would be interesting to know what maintenance outside of normal services you have had to do.

PDK oil will be changed next year - might change the plug leads - even the wheels look pretty good - never been refurbed no kerbing etc

Wow, that's amazing.

You must also be able to put that roof up and down in seconds (with your eyes closed)!

Well done. I had a 987 spyder for 8 years 2010 to 2018 when I changed to 718 GTS Did nowhere near your mileage though. It was a great car / drive . Have to say though that the 718 is an improvement in every way - except for the exclusivity - though 718's not that common ! Will possibly change to 718 Spyder next year if PDK avaialble but GTS is going to be hard to beat! Merry Christmas !!

Driving a Porsche over 100,000 miles and not wrapping it up in cotton wool to keep the mileage low for the next owner, how very dare you!! 😂😜

Good going though OP

Stop it immediately, wrap it in cotton wool and start posting endlessly about depreciation. It’s the only way on here.

Excellent. Post up about some of your exploits.

I’ve been trashing about in the rain all day today in the GT4. So rewarding even at normal speeds on the road. Can just enjoy interacting with the car and having your senses tingled with every turn of the wheel, dip of the clutch, and throw of the gear shifter.
Literally just got home… car is in the garage ticking away and rain water hissing as it evaporates upon touching the various radiators and hot exhaust.
Love it.… feel blessed…continue to enjoy in good health.

Respect … I am slightly ashamed to admit my 987 has covered 12.500 in my 6 years off ownership ...I agree they are a great car the 987 drives differently to my 981 Spyder the steering is sharper but the 981 sound is amazing .Nice to hear no issues as I possibly wasted £1800 on putting on a warranty in 2015 .

Lovely to here you use your car as designed...

My first Porsche was a 987 boxster and I used it everyday for 3 years and loved ever minute of it. Think I managed 37k in it, I was single at the time and loved taking it everywhere. With the roof down you can fit a full roll of loft insulation in passenger seat!

If I’m being honest it’s the car I miss the most.

Not that expensive to run either.

Keep it up
