You want a 24% return?

How much risk to your capital are you prepared to take?

Sorry to spoil any fun, but it is a 2.4% return (not a 24% return).

Easily achievable with a majority bond/gilt portfolio at a lower risk than a stock and shares one.

You can probably get it from a bank cash deposit rate too.

24% per annum. If you can achieve that I'd just invest £250k and retire now.

Poor Julian, clearly misread the title but might regret not double checking for a while on this one!

Yes they are.

In the land of make believe.

Julian misread the figures, but 2k pcm on 100k is either illegal, or bks.

Even Groak’s fantasy nonsense doesn’t come close. Well not for very long, anyway.
