Hard Top doors

Yet another series of queries.

1. Does anyone know where I can buy the lift off door hinges which are man enough for the hard-fop doors.

2. Can someone send me a close up photo or drawing showing how they have mounted the fittings - the Heath-Robinson ones on mine were (i) Ugly! (ii) busting the fibreglass.

would take a pic but geep is comandeered by jan as her everyday transport
i am sure someone at newark had replaced hinges with ones from b&q or homebase
next time i see "my" geep i'll take a pic

You can get rising butt hinges from stores like B&Q which lift off.
These will work providing the "rise" occurs as the door clears the roof.

Oh yes just remembered they are sided left and right for their original use on house doors so make sure you get a left set and right set then put the correct set on each side.
