Popped into B&Q to pick up some bits yesterday andkw and behold no Christmas stuff anywhere to be seen. The whole lot already discounted, sold and cleared out! I was stunned!

No Christmas music either.

It could have been any random day in may looking at the store.

I need to do literally ALL of my Christmas shopping today.... wonder if I can do the full sweep at B&Q?

Presents for the teenage nieces might be a stretch, but everyone else should be covered! I Shall report back later.

Many many thanks op!

Funnily enough I had exactly the same reaction yesterday. My Daughter and I popped into B&Q to grab some things with the promise of looking around all the Christmas stuff while we’re there. There was one small shelf with what was left of the tree decorations and that was it!

Thankfully the bathroom section can keep a 5 year old entertained for hours so the absence of a Christmas section was no great loss in the end.

Our local Asda isn’t much better, A few tat gifts and hardly any decorations etc.

It’ll be all gone Boxing day anyway. Suppose when you start in October it’s whats expected.

And yet there are more than 24 hours to go. Poor form...https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/10.gif

Christmas shopping should start no earlier than 3pm on the 24th if you are doing it right.

I used to start about 1pm, into work at 7am, leave about 11, get the train and straight out down town when I got back...... It went wrong the year I decided to give Blue Water a go instead of my town....

I was thinking about buying one for outside at that price but then thought about having to spend ages vacuuming the car out to get rid of all the needles and changed my mind !

Further proof that an Atom is the ideal car for transporting Christmas trees

To be fair, B&Q was only really the safety net if I coudn't get what I needed from the BP garage on the way home on Christmas eve.

I work for a chocolate manufacturer and we've been shipping Easter products since November, madness.

Oh and as an aside to my OP there was also some BBQs coming into stock (or old summer stock) in the place of some of the Christmas stock!
