Seasons greetings (‘tis the season to be... fixing).

I have dismounted the coolant tank today and noticed it has a female electrical connection at the base, it is not plugged in. I have fished around and can’t find a cable to plug into it! Nothing is mentioned in the workshop manual...

Is this a parts bin hangover or am I missing something?

It’s parts bin wiring from VW. Cerberas don’t have this wired up.

Because adding the coolant level wiring to the loom would have cost TVR a fortune and offered no useful warning that there was a coolant leak

Cheers!! That’s good news I guess, one less thing to go wrong...

One eye for the road, the other on the temp gauge then!

Both eyes for the road... and check your coolant level regularly then!
