What is the longest journey anyone has taken in a Cerbera and how far did you get before you broke down?

Looking at your previous threads in your profile, this seems like pretty well-trodden ground for you.

took my secretary out today..in the cerb. from the west end of london to runnymeade..the traffic jam at 12.30pm on the A40 felt like the longest journey ever, but good lunch at the Runnymeade hotel.

Just got back from a 2300 mile around Europe.

No probs apart from a few vapourisation probs in extreme heat.

South of France / Alps / Italy is ideal for the Cerb (in dry weather).

Where you got planned?

Longest journey question?

Twice my 1998 4.5 Cerbera has been driven from North Yorkshire to Spa Francorchamps, each time including approx 340 track miles over RMA's two day event. Total mileage for each trip was around 1500 miles.

In four and a half years covering 43,000 miles I have been stopped from reaching my destination only twice, once by the 100 amp fuse - which could have been fixed if I had one with me at the time - and once for a "proper breakdown"

24,000 miles, with a few stops in between.
Started 3 years ago and still on the same journey to nowhere in particular. And it's done 200+ miles to a track day - a track day - and 200+ miles home on quite a few occasions.

And it's done 600 miles in a day with 4 folks in it plus luggage.

Nope, wife and me are around 5'8", son is 5'9" and daugther is maybe 5'4". No-one said there was lots of room, or it was comfortable in the back - but if the front seats are fairly far forward you can get normal sized peaple in the back with only moderate discomfort. Family members are best, as they don't have a choice - it's sit in the back or walk!
