Following on from my earlier post, I thought it would share my early Xmas present.

Truth be told I was out shopping for some last minute Xmas presents for others, but when I noticed a Jewelers in Harrogate were a Tudor reseller, I thought I'd go check it out.

To my suprise, they had both a GMT and 58 sitting in the window. I went to enquire and they'd just had them in a few days earlier and we're suprised themselves that they'd been sent them.

I went off for a brew and deliberated over which I'd go for (and if a second Tudor purchase was sensible within 6 months of the last).

I've long since been on the hunt for a Rolex GMT Master 2 Batman, and whilst one is highly unlikely from an AD I keep asking whilst on my travels. In any case, that led me to discount the GMT if I ever got lucky with the Rolex equivalent. I think the Tudor GMT looks great, and I may well regret but I was faced with this choice to make.

The 58, I was a fan of from day one. I tried on a reserved one with a leather strap and thought it was perfect. So when I saw this today, the decision was easy. Compared with my BB Chrono it's so comfortable and you hardly know it's there. I'm a massive fan of the styling and I've always been a lover of gold / black combo. Added bonus is I will get almost 500gbp tax back too.

Excellent purchase, I have the GMT but would like to own the BB58 as well at some point. Quite rare to find them both in stock as well.
