An official thread for you to share the worst Christmas presents you received this year! Feel free to add photos if it adds to the hilarity.

Any presents welcome; inappropriate, dull, damaged or just plain weird! hehe

Who wants to start? tongue out

Well. For a bit of context, I split up with the missus last year, so I’m not-so-happily single this year. My old mum, bless her, got me a 4 piece set of cutlery. One knife, one fork, one dessert spoon, one teaspoon. It’s nice gear but fk me, kick a man when he’s down laugh

Sorry, but that's the funniest thing I have read in ages.

Text my sister away on holiday this morning to wish her the seasonal pleasantries etc.
She later replied she had to come home yesterday after only one day & is seriously ill in our local hospital.

Gave up drinking 5 years ago, for ahem, health reasons. One of my best mates has given me abottle of Prosecco. I go on holiday a couple of time a year, he knows I don't drink

Not exactly the worst present but I got this kitchen knife from my brother. The wording inside the box gave me a chuckle. Clearly no proper proof reading was deemed necessary.

As someone who enjoys cooking, I'd quite appreciate a knife like that, despite the dodgy spiel on the box lid.

I drive a truck all week, go late Sunday or early Monday, return early/late Friday.

So this morning me and MRS400 are opening just our presents to each other before the on slaught of the family arrive.

So I go 1st open it up and its one of them battery packs for charging your phone if your out and theres no charging point.

So I look at her and with out prompting she announces that she thought it would be good for the lorry....

I said the lorry with 2 cigarette lighter slots and 2 USB slots...

Well I thought it was a good idea she says..

I got a mini torch from my mum.
Not a bad present in itself other than it's identical to the mini torch from 2 years ago she bought me.

I give her a bit of a dig about it to be told "I thought you liked your other one"

I got a "family" game which is a bit of paper and three dice.

On the plus side, my PA bought me genuinely thoughtful gifts that I really like and appreciate. If i wasn't a decade older and twice her body weight I'd think I was in there!

Love them. Feel free to send my way if you don't want them. Up there with a circle of Elizabeth Shaws for minty chocolate action.

Perhaps someone's trying to tell you something wink

My worst was a Jeffrey Archer novel.

Fortunately we have a wood burner.

I too am newly divorced this year. I only got 1 present. It's very nice, and I like it a lot, but technically it is the worst present I got.
