Why have all prices disappeared
Discussion
I saw a brand new dealer specced Red Boxster at my OPC on 12th December that was near perfect to what I would have built if I was to do it myself. Ordered there and then and collected it on Friday 14th December.
I had heard there were going to be price increases and I got a great p/x deal on this new car so it could be a Double Win for us.
The wife got her Christmas present early this year

OPC Kendal - I'm there in January to have a service and get (hopefully) a two year extended warranty on mine.

I for one would find it extremely useful if there was anywhere to see a list of new cars in stock at OPC's. They don't even list them on their individual web sites... unless I'm missing something?
Oooh they wouldn't want to do that, now would they. Far too difficult to hide an oversupply of a particular model.Gorsh said:

I asked the sales manager at my OPC that very question a few months ago. They’re not allowed as part of their franchise agreement....can’t remeber the phrase he used but there is a trade term for it( something like “distressed selling”). Quite a few OPC’s use social media now as a way to circumvent it e.g “Look at our fabulous red Boxster with xyz option”....the Porsche GB owned one’s do it more than most! One reason they don’t advertise though is that they have to have one of each model in the showroom...so with 911’s in particular they can’t sell that showroom car until it’s been replaced(they can get an exception for a week or two). There’s a penalty clause in the franchise agreement if they don’t.
What I have noticed is if you go to the dealer group website they do have more cars listed I.e. Stratstone, Dick Lovett,JCT 600, Sytner etc. Quite often have cars listed with 10 miles on them.

Guards Red is such a great colour. Full leather... or not? Not sure about the dots down the front lid. I had heard there were going to be price increases and I got a great p/x deal on this new car so it could be a Double Win for us.
