Wind that is escaping with such volume that the neighbours have been round to ask if everything is alright.

We live in a detatched house.

Turkey crown
Parsnips
Potatoes
Sausage, sage and apple stuffing
Yorkshire pudding
Pigs
Carrots
Bacon from turkey top
Cheesy baked sprouts with smoked lardons
Gravy
Bottle or 3 of red...

...cheese, beans and egg on toast for us, yummy! It's the second year in a row we've had it, a throwback to a simpler childhood and something we just never get around to eating the rest of the year. Washing up is very simple too wink

Mind you, we had the family do on the 23rd at my parents so tradition hasn't been thrown completely out the window.

Coming from a Polish background, our traditional meal was last night, but went round to a friend's today and had a selection of roast beef, pork and goose along with potatoes, parsnips and sprout's. Cant understand the hype about turkey, goose and duck are superior.

We went out to Weetwood Hall for our lunch.
It was very nice but must admit I'd have been just as happy being served your meal.

Hope you've had a great day.

Chicken Korma and passanda, samosas etc, went to collect it earlier.
Used to do the traditional meal but too much hassle to cook or eat out, would rather have what everyone actually wants

And yes, an almighty clearout accompanied by the new Viz annual

I made Roast Goose and a Roast Turkey along with usual trimmings.

Not bad for my first ever time to cook Christmas dinner.

Ham hock terrine with red onion marmalade to start

Goose and all the usual trimmings for the main.

Pavlova for dessert.

Washed down with a bottle of red.

All cooked from scratch by my amazingly talented wife.
