F*cking parcle force !!!!
Discussion
3 parcels gone missing in the last 2 months ... claims like "we dropped it over the back gate" - we don't have a back gate !!
"it was signed for on the 6th" - we weren't here on the 6th & the neighbours don't have it either !!
Fed up with the service, I just seem to keep having to ring to people up I've ordered from and get them to send out replacements, which they won't do until they talk to ParcelForce ...
The latest one is for bits for the TVR, which they claim were signed for last Thursday .... difficult as we are very rarely here during the day and I end up having to pick them up from their depot.
Crap service, crap excuses and I'm left without the bits I need for the weekend ...
Just had to get it off my chest !
Can't find a customer services number to complain at either !!!

I used their online tracking service recently and was suprised to see that a parcel addressed to my office had been delivered and signed for about 20 minutes earlier, when I was the only one in. Needless to say it wasn't anywhere to be seen.
I rang their contact number and was told "If it says its signed for then its been signed for - take it up with the local depot".
So I rang the depot, who told me that their system (for some reason
) requires them to mark all the parcels as delivered and signed for as they leave the depot. Any that come back on the van are then updated to show that they haven't actually been delivered.
Anybody spot the potential for abuse in this cr4ppy system?
As it happened, the parcel arrived about 10min after I got off the 'phone, but you have to question whether their records are accurate if your local depot works in the same fashion.

Parcel Farce are the scum of the earth..
Initial City Link however are streets ahead, ok we get a reasonable number of deliveries ( a 2-4 each month ) and they know know who i am...
I regularly get items delivered in my name to diffferent companies, and they always call me to check where to deleiver, and half the time if its a delivery to home they call me to ask when to drop of.
They are even happy for me to specify i'll collect from the LOCAL ( unlike parcel farce where local is 20 miles away in the middle of birmingham) depot, and not bother sending it out at all...
I think I've used just about every carrier Parcel farce are so far at the bottom in terms of service they are out of sight !!!!!!
sorry rant over......

I've refused to use the Farce since they 'delivered' a Lotus Elise seat to me - dumped on my doorstep all day, signed for by themselves! - could have been had by anyone as it was in plain view, 15ft from the street.
my postie has started to do this as DVD box sets wont go through the letterbox, which means £40-£60 worth of DVDs sit by my front door all day
Had a similar episode with TNT the other day... I ordered a parts washer via Ebay and stated that I'd collect it. Due to monumental overefficiency they despatched the thing anyway, by TNT.
I was sat around the house till 10.30 waiting for some other parts so I could go out on a breakdown. When I got back at 3.25 there was a TNT card through the door timed at 12.40.
I rang the depot about an hour later and the guy said 'Yeah, we've tried to deliver it three times, once at 0900 [I was sat in the lounge, nothing could get past me], once at lunchtime [fair do's, the card said 12.40] and again at 3.45'. Er, no. I was at home having a sandwich.
Lying sack of
In the meantime I'd kicked off with the supplier and told them they needn't think I was paying the £15 delivery charge, since it was their fault the washer was despatched when I'd asked them not to...
