This turned up in a bag of clothes from my late grandfather. My parents have no idea where its come from, as far as we are aware it didn't belong to him.
It appears to be made from gold. I have no idea what the symbols might be either.

Can somebody shed some light on what it might be?

Might be Masonic but they mostly have the square and compass emblems on thier pendants. Not all mind.

Freemason here. Not symbols I recognise but there are many orders I’m not involved in.

Stick it on reddit under /r/whatisthisthing - that lot are scary good at this stuff but the user base is massive.

Looks like a person in a dress who’s going to spend some money on an open-topped sandwich and a one of those chocolate biscuits with holes in which they’ll eat from a picnic bench next to the Arc de Triomphe.

They are not masonic symbols.

They look very similar indeed to runic alphabet.

ETA Also early Iberian alphabets.
