2 x PS4 - same PSN account but different "name"?

Odd question this, but at the moment my son & I share a PS4. He plays online games and I don't. The PSN account is in my name and the username is also my name (dave then year of birth).
He's been saving up & is now wanting to buy his own PS4 for his bedroom but wants to keep all his trophies, battle pass things, achievements etc. so our understanding is he can use the same PSN account on his machine as I use on the current one - it would only be a problem if we both tried to play at the same time which we wouldn't.
What I can't find out though, is there any chance little Jaxun-Tupac can use my account but display his own name to his mates?
I've tried google, but to no avail.
