Creaky 1.6 HDi clutch pedal
Discussion
Hello all
Car in question is a DS3 1.6 HDi with the boggo 5 speed box.
Noticed when my partner was doing a 3 point turn there is some noise coming from the car.
Clutch has a slight "grainy" feel and the grinding noise seems to come through the pedal a little.
My main instinct is that it could be the release bearing but I wouldn't expect to feel anything gritty through the travel of the pedal unless it was absolutely shot and it doesn't sound like that. Only makes the noise when the pedal is being moved too which would make me thing against it.
Car has about 63K on it and tbf its never really driven hard ( unless I go to the shops in it
)
Any pointers?

It is likely that you have a hydraulic clutch & if so anything you can hear/feel at the pedal is just the bearing/spring in the footwell, a clean & bit of silicone grease is likely to sort it out.
Had another look at this and I think you are right, it is just odd it sounds louder outside the car.Panic over
