Luckily for you the hypothetical island is not in the Antarctic so you do not have to cook seal cooked over a fire of seal blubber like Sir Ernest Shackletons crew had to do when they followed the wrong step in the cooking instructions. Simmer gently at 80F does not mean go to 80 degrees south ! Bloody imperial.......

This is the island

That was me after seeing my wife's cooking !

The island contains some coconut trees and land dwelling crabs. The sea near shore smaller fish, some which might be poisonous from eating coral and deeper fish off the reef that might be hard to catch or eat you.

So, in your nice island what are you going to cook? You have all pots and pans and one luxury item that was not bought from lidl/aldi

I've been thinking of what I would do. This is me taken by a selfie picturegraph device circa this evening.

You can see I have already the first course penciled in which contains lashing and lashings of ginger beer.

That's the problem with going on the internet. By the time you are finished posting and photogramming then your coconut is cold or at the best hardly warm.

Where was I?

Didn't Shackleton also take Fortnum and Mason Scotch eggs? To be fair to him, he probably finished them off still in the sight of the UK coastline biggrin
