New car PCP/Lease/keep current car/get another car

I have a 140 mile a day commute so do about 20-25k a year.
I purchased an old Saab 9-3 last year 120k and have done 22k in a year. Until this month I had only done normal services on it but this month have spent £1500 on it part of me says I should have just chucked it away and got another old banger but too late now. I’m still thinking should I get another old cheap car Honda Accord/Volvo S60 or go for something new golf on PCP or a lease deal.
I have only ever had old cars hoping it doesn’t break down, playing MOT roulette etc etc
Thoughts?
