Can somebody recommend any good mechanics to perform the usual work on a Vette in Kent.

I have previously purchased a car and used Claremont for work, but I am slowly losing patience with them. Especially as last time they scratched the car and put the front and rear wheels on the wrong way round on one side.

Funny enough it pulled to one side when braking.

Not in Kent but use a guy called Jonh Simmons in Pease Pottage (M23), he works on our C4, C5 and Camaro, very good service, highly recommended. 01293 515538

Gixer lives in Kent and has a new Post lift in his garage so I am sure he could work on your car if he is willing!

A mate of mine had some dealings with D**t and said he wasnt happy, the best way to go about having someone work on your car is to use the guys that have been recomended on this forum or like me do the work yourself, you will be surprised how much you can do and i have actually found working on my vette a lot easier than my old sierra.
By the way ,BoostedLS1 on this forum comes heavily recomended and knows his stuff.

Five miles west of Tonbridge near the village of Leigh. One mile east of where I'm sitting!

If you want a good job done Try giving Ian Goss a call on 07718-900215 He was sevrice mgr for years at American carriage in Kigston, He has now got his own workshop doing servicing & Mot's & SVA work. I did put a post up about this a few weeks ago Me & Tekwiz have already taken our Vettes there Hes good & won't have you over! He based in Chessington not that far away about 35 mins from Swanley. I found DART to be useless never return your calls & always seem a mess when you go there Claremont Is always to expensive for me!

Thanks for the replies.

I will give Ian Goss a call, Chessington is not too far to go if you get a good job done.

Buddy of mine had to go and 'remove' his car from D*art owing to various issues.
If its a C3 or earlier try T & A in Wickford (not too far from Kent)on 01268 590891. They have been working on Vettes for 20+ years.
