I’m looking to purchase a ladies moonphase watch.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of choice but I’m struggling to decide between the lower end of the market buying a Henry London Moonphase or spending up to £1k and something like a Longines Primaluna moonphase.

£1k would be the top budget, are there any others out there I should be considering?

Would you be prepared to look at vintage watches?

If so there are lots of lovely pieces well under budget.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I found a watch I like and bought pre-owned

It’s a tad embarrassing as I’ve not gone for anything like I was looking for

What’s embarrassing about buying something you obviously liked the look of, irrespective of whether it met your initial criteria or not?

You know the routine... pics or it never happened!

I went for a ladies tag formula 1 black ceramic with diamond hour markers.
It’s a 2017 of a discontinued model that I’d been having my eye on for quite a few years beforehand so glad I snapped it up at the price it was available at.
It’s not yet arrived but here’s a picture.

I am going to continue looking for the right moonphase for me for next time.
I struggle being female and having tiny wrists with the rubbish selection of watches available.

It’s probably a good thing in the way as I don’t get tempted often.
Im often lusting after men’s watches but even when I try them on and think I could live with it, they are just far too large for me.

I still really like the look of the Longines prime Luna but having visited many watch dealers in oxford and London over the past few weeks I’ve not found anyone who stocks one for me to try on.
I tried the Longines conquest on and it just didn’t feel special.

To itch the moonphase scratch I found some Junkers watches which seem to appeal.

My preferred moonphase has a gold plated case with either a dark blue or white dial and has the calendar dates around the edge with the crescent shaped hand.
Preferably on a dark brown leather strap.

The only one I’ve found of this type is junkers, but it might still be too big for me
