Leather Cleaner

I need to clean leather upholstery etc in my Cerbera.
Is there a particular product that works best ?

I use Autoglym's leather cleaner then the leather cream to restore the natural oils.

Seems to work well, do have to work hard at some stubbon marks though.

Autoglyms Leather cleaner is very good....? You could also use Flash 'Eraser' (yes the one for the bathroom etc..?) which is very good for getting the dirt off especially if its a light colour, looks like new? Just make sure you give it a good wipe after using it and then use a leather cream to keep the leather soft.

Once you've cleaned it, I'd recommend giving it a going over with Effax's 'Yellow Wonder' (feeds the leather and with regular use protects against scratches and tears), followed by Effax Leder Balsam (extra leather food, polishes to a fantastic finish)...

I don't think the Autoglym leather cleaner is good at all. The conditioner is OK though.

I tried liquid leather cleaner which actually made me laugh out loud when I used it as it just removed marks and grime without any effort at all. I couldn't believe it. Then applied their conditioner. I bought it from the company mail order.

One choice. Two words. LIQUID LEATHER. This is the daddy of leather care products. Trust me. I know my leather.....

I second the opinion on LIQUID LEATHER (Gliptone) for ALL leather care. I've tried the rest and LL is far and away the tops IMO. As a bonus it leaves the most fantastic leather smell too.

I used Meguiars Leather care stuff and then some stuff my parents have for taking care of the leather chairs at home. I've always fancied trying Liquid leather.

never heard of Liquid Leather....just ordered some though!

might as well give it a go, as I said, I did have to work hard at stains with Autoglym.

Gliptones Liquid leather for me too, you can smell the leather when you lift the garage door, it does an excellent job.

I cleaned my really grotty magnolia leather with some stuff called oxy-plus that the wife got from the pound shop for £1.50. (£1.50 from the pound shop? She got ripped off!)

The purists amonst you will cringe, but the stuff is fantastic, brought the leather up a treat. I finished it off with that stuff IVANHOE suggested. ( I must give it him back one day )

It may appear a bit more pricey than some products but it goes along way. I did my Griff interior 3 times and still have some left over.

I use Tesco value baby wipes to clean the leather, then Autoglym cream.

It works OK...

You can get the Gliptone liquid leather and conditioner from Saab dealers - at least that's where I got mine from. Not expensive either, only about £4-5 each, and it lasts for ages.

Best stuff I've used for cleaning the leather is BMW leather cleaner (from any BMW dealer). Not cheap but it is easy to use and works very well.

Seconded, I use a saddle soap followed by Effel Effax, brilliant beewswax based leather conditioner!
Very quick and easy to apply!
