Can anybody throw so light on this problem for me as it is driving me mad now!

I have had the car for 5 years now and it has always been great. However, about two months ago it started struggling to start particularly when it was 5 degrees or below! Eventually it would crank but not start (instruments lit like a Christmas tree). Eventually managed to get it to a local garage and there were no reports on the diagnostics. Glow plugs replaced but to no avail. In again and crankshaft position sensor replaced. Been great since but went to start it this afternoon and no joy even though it was running fine yesterday. Could the outside air temperature have anything do do with it as it has been about 8-9 degrees this last few weeks and now 5 degrees ( clutching at straws here as you can tell) The car is on a 56 plate

How old is the battery? Could be as simple as is on its last legs and need replacing

The car will need a good 14v to start and needs to be running that when being charged (whilst driving), needs to be around 12v when car switched off etc...

If you’ve a multi meter, check the battery, if not, use the hidden menu on the dash to get the voltage readings. Plenty of how to’s on Google/YouTube to show you how to do this

Glow plug modules ay up throwing glow plug codes.

Injector leak back.

My money isn't on the battery personally.
