Cant decide which estate
Discussion
Guys I am obviously incapable of making a decision. After around 3 months of research, I am still uncertain which car to go for.
My requirements are;
An estate, although would consider an SUV with decent boot capacity
Petrol
Automatic
Metallic paint
Make me smile when I sit in it, and especially when I accelerate!
£350per month MAX on a lease, with max of £2,800 down. 10k miles p/a
A couple of options I have quotes on which I could get on budget are;
Jag XF Sportbrake 250, with black allows, digital dash and metallic paint
Cupra Sports Tourer - Lux Spec
I’m torn between the Jag and the Cupra ST. I know the Cupra isn’t as lush inside……but the Jag won’t have the same oomph.
Im just wondering if anyone can think of any models I might have missed; Ive ruled out the Golf R based on lead times and spec, and I’ve ruled out the E Class due to the wife not liking it!
Cheers guys.

Not sure of your expectations in respect of brand image but I have had a Skoda Octavia VRS estate for 7 years 115,000 miles with no issues.
Looking at the 245hp one as a replacement, or possibly the Superb estate in 220bhp or 280bhp configuration.
Last summer I bumped into a guy I used to work with years, had the general catch up chat and when I asked him what he was doing now he said working for VOSA assessing recall issues on cars. I asked him which manufacturer he would recommend and he said nothing from VAG except Skoda's. Reason being Audi and Volkswagen get the new technology and use the customer as the Beta testers whilst Skoda get it a year or so after when most of the issues have been addressed.
Equally Which magazine car reliability review last year slated everything from Jaguar Landrover.
If the idea is to PCP for 3 years covered by Manufacturers warranty then reliability and the issues are less important, as maybe is the issue of being without your car whilst in a garage (courtesy car may not be an estate). But if it will be out of warranty before the end of the deal/lease (4years possibly) this may be a consideration.
Edited to say I type to slow so VRS not of interest?
