Evidence must be provided 14 days before court hearing, if the court receives that evidence within that time scale, but due to the defendant being away on holiday, the defendant receives the evidence within the 14 days.

What are the chances the court will accept the evidence, and should i communicate with the court explaining the reason/s for the late evidence.

I presume it’s a Small Claims hearing and you’re a litigant in person?

Get in the evidence with an appropriately grovelling letter to the Court. No discourtesy intended to the Court or the presiding Judge etc etc and you’ll be fine.

Make sure you serve the other side with the same too without the grovelling apology.
